Hello Grownups,

Thank you for visiting!  Working with children has been a delight and joy throughout my life. I hope that as you read this, you will have a better understanding of the love and dedication I have for teaching.

Throughout the year we will be following a preschool curriculum that will prepare your child for Pre-K and Kindergarten.  Through songs and play your kiddo will learn and retain life lessons socially and academically.

Our curriculum at Tiny Town Preschool is in conjunction with standards taught through the Davis School District. Preschool students will learn letters, letter sounds, shapes, colors, and numbers.  Pre-K students will review and master preschool requirements and move onto early reading skills.  Both groups of little learners will also be acquiring social and emotional skills with their academic accomplishments.

I am a firm believer that through songs and play students learn faster and retain information longer.  Much of our learning will be through singing and each educational center incorporates additional learning opportunites.  I will be having short performances throughout the year using songs your children will be learning along with our end of year program.  Singing brings students together and unites them as a group.

All of our art and hands on activities will follow the curriculum.  There will be a variety of materials such as paint, clay, watercolor, crayon, marker etc.
